This month’s recommendations for Littler Kids Storybooks:
Carl’s Birthday
The Carl books are great picture books. There are no words- the story unfolds through beautiful illustrated pictures of Carl, the lovable Rottweiler, and his adventures. Great first books.
Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What do you See?
This classic book by Eric Carle makes a great storybook for preschool age kids. The illustrations are striking and unique, and kids will love learning about the exotic animals.
Good night, Max
Rosemary Wells’ books are all very popular titles at the public library here in Santa Cruz, and the Max books are especially loved. This book is a great bedtime story and new readers can help Moms and Dads read along.
Sheep Take a Hike
This book is one of the newer books in the Sheep in a Jeep series. These books are cute and feature the sheep in outrageous situations.
Bembo’s Zoo
This is an animal alphabet book that is highly recommended by customers of amazon.com.
Is Your Mama a Llama?
This is another popular title at the library- so popular that it is always checked out and therefore I have never had a chance to read it! Readers on amazon.com loved it.
