Jack Hanna’s What Zookeepers Do
Jack Hanna’s television programs are excellent. They focus on all sorts of different animal subjects from county fairs to zoo conservation programs, and Hanna’s sense of humor will be appreciated by kids of all ages. Hanna is himself a zookeeper and his books are great for young children.
Buddy: The First Seeing Eye Dog
This book, written specifically for young readers, is an illustrated account of the life of Buddy, the first seeing eye dog. Great for the aspiring dog trainer!
